# Navigation

Learn how to navigate the Catalog application efficiently.

## Main Interface

### Search Bar

The search bar is prominently displayed at the top of the screen:

- Click to activate and enter search terms
- Use the dropdown to select search type (Part Number, VIN, Vehicle)
- Access recent searches from the dropdown menu

### Navigation Menu

The main navigation provides access to:

- **Home**: Return to the main dashboard
- **Search**: Access advanced search options
- **Products**: Browse product categories
- **Orders**: View order history and status
- **Settings**: Configure application preferences

### Quick Actions

Quick action buttons provide one-click access to:

- New search
- Scan barcode (mobile)
- View cart
- Access help

## Working with Results

### List View

The default result display shows:

- Compact list of matching products
- Key information visible at a glance
- Click any item to view details

### Grid View

Switch to grid view for:

- Visual product browsing
- Image-focused navigation
- Larger touch targets on mobile

### Pagination

For large result sets:

- Navigate pages using Previous/Next buttons
- Jump to specific pages using page numbers
- Adjust results per page in Settings

- Cart
- Menu

## Accessibility

Catalog supports accessibility features:

- **Screen readers**: Full compatibility with assistive technology
- **Keyboard navigation**: All features accessible via keyboard
- **High contrast**: Enable in Settings for improved visibility
